Fees & FAQ
Clear, private, and out-of-network — so our work is guided by you, not an insurance company.
What "out-of-network" means
I don't bill insurance directly. You pay at the time of service, and I provide a monthly superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurer for possible partial reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits.
This keeps your care private (no diagnosis required for an insurer's file) and fully tailored to you. To learn your benefits, call your insurer and ask about out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage and your reimbursement rate.
To make this simpler, I partner with Thrizer — many clients pay just their estimated co-insurance up front while Thrizer verifies benefits and files out-of-network claims automatically, instead of waiting weeks for reimbursement.
Frequently asked
Do you take insurance?
I'm out-of-network, so I don't bill insurance directly. I provide superbills for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
Can I use my out-of-network benefits more easily?
Yes. I partner with Thrizer, a service that handles out-of-network claims for you — so instead of paying in full and waiting weeks for reimbursement, many clients pay only their estimated co-insurance up front. Thrizer checks your benefits and files the claims automatically. I'm happy to walk you through it.
Where are you located?
I see couples in person on the South Shore and in Boston, and online across Massachusetts via secure telehealth.
Should we start with an intensive or weekly sessions?
It depends on where you are. Couples in crisis or short on time often start with an intensive; others prefer the steady rhythm of weekly sessions. We'll decide together on a free consult.
